This gaff rigged sailing dinghy is about thirty years old but benefits from an excellent refurbishment which makes her look very smart. She can be sailed single -handed or will seat 4 adults easily. If you look at the Character Boats website and select the Lytham Pilot you can see pictures of a modern version which would cost about £12000. I have had the GRP hull professionally resprayed in black gloss. I have taken the inside back to gelcoat and primed the inside with Crown PX3. I then painted the inside with Grey bilge paint. The woodwork has been sanded back to bare wood and varnished with Coovar varnish. I am selling due to my age but really don't want to! Frauw Hildja was built by previous owner who was a boat builter in Friesland. Whilst they owned her they rescued some people in a yacht on the Waddenzee in a force 10.
